Warranties FAQS

At West Heath Motors, we understand that it is important for our customers to have a warranty in place to provide protection in case of any unforeseen problems with their vehicle. As such, we include a warranty with the purchase of each of our vehicles. This warranty helps ensure that our customers receive the high level of service they expect from us and provides peace of mind.

If you encounter any issues with your car, it is important to let us know before any diagnostic or corrective work is carried out. You must gain our authorization beforehand. If you are local to our dealership, we recommend bringing the car back to us to be fixed. However, if you have a preferred garage that you would like to use, we are happy for you to take it there. If you are not local to our dealership and do not have a preferred garage, we will help you find a reputable garage in your area and make a booking that is convenient for you. We will follow your claim through to ensure that you get back on the road as soon as possible.

To make a claim on your warranty, you must first let us know about any issues you are experiencing with your car and gain our authorization. You can then take your car to your chosen garage for a diagnosis. The garage can then contact either our warranty company or us for advice. Once the garage has provided us with a correct diagnosis and a reasonable quotation, we will authorize the claim in accordance with your warranty. The garage will be paid directly as soon as the work is completed and a VAT invoice made out to West Heath Motors Ltd is received by us, so you can drive away within a reasonable time frame.

A full list of parts covered and excluded under the terms of our warranty is available in our showroom, and we are happy to email or mail a copy upon request. Our warranty covers parts, labor, and VAT. If you have any questions about what is covered, please do not hesitate to contact us at 0121 458 4031.

It is not legally required for a garage to provide a warranty with the sale of a used car. However, if a garage does offer a warranty, it is in addition to the customer's consumer rights (CR).

We hope this information has been helpful. If you have any further questions about our warranties or the claims process, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone - 0121 458 4031.
